The Photograph
There's a grove of oak trees and cottonwood trees within Yosemite Valley that get about 10 minutes of sunlight in the mid-afternoon in early Autumn. During this short time, the sun shines directly onto their golden, Autumn leaves giving these trees a spectacular, fire -like glow. I was fortunate enough to have this grove all to myself for the short time that this event occurs. It was truly an amazing experience!
