The Photograph
El Capitan stands like a great sentinel overlooking the Merced River. Visiting Yosemite at anytime of the year is memorable but being there in the Winter or early spring is truly a remarkable experience.
If you have ever visited Yosemite Valley then you are aware of just how humbling the granite monoliths like El Capitan and Half Dome really are. Their immense size and grandeur can’t faithful be recreated or captured by any photograph.
