The Photograph
Clark Mountain is the highest peak in the Clark Mountain Range in the Mojave Desert. It stand like a sentinel at 7,933 feet (2418 m).
Snow in the Mojave Desert is a rare sight to see. And it's especially rare to see a mountain in the Mojave covered in snow. How rare, you might be wondering? Very. I have lived in this area for almost five decades and I have never seen this amount of snow in this region.
This is a simple photograph of a simple subject and the photo speaks for its self. I am very grateful that I was able to capture this very rare sight indeed!
